How safe is your mail delivered to your rural route mailbox? My recently widowed mother caught someone helping themselves to her mail. This same person came by and asked if she would like to have her house pressure washed two days after my dad's funeral.
Knowing that someone is trying to steal your mail is very unsettling. It is a federal offense; however, you might not know if someone has been in your mailbox.
